One of the cool things about getting We Out Here started is having the opportunity to learn about and educate others about young talent in the area.

So far I may have not come across a younger or more talented person than 12 year old Savanna Coen.

Thanks to the help of a successful Kickstarter Program, Savanna is getting ready to release her debut album.

We have a full feature on the way. But until then here are her 7 Questions.

Thanks Savanna!

My Name is… Savanna Coen.

I am… Oregon’s youngest blues singer.

I like it when…. I’m on stage singing and the people in the audience are laughing, smiling, having fun, and enjoying my music. It makes me feel really happy since I’m making them happy.

One thing I wish the Northwest would share with the world is… how to be yourself. In the Northwest, you can be an individual, do anything you want, and express yourself in any way you wish. And everyone’s cool with that.

One thing I wish the world would share with the Northwest is… nothing! I think the Northwest is perfect just how it is. :-)

Something I have coming up is… my CD release party at Eugene’s Saturday Market on April 30th!

This is exciting because… it’s my first CD and I’m celebrating it at the very first place I performed publicly, three years ago. Plus, I’m introducing my new band.
