I am… A musician (guitar, drums and bass), composer, voice over artist, tap dancer, writer
and director. I was grounded a lot as a kid.
I like it when… I eat an Oregon Burrito from Muchas Gracious. A project I’m working on comes together and works. I don’t have gas the next day from said burrito. I guess those last two sentences are really the same thing.
One thing I wish the Northwest would share with the world is… Our artists. Whether it be music, dance, painting, graffiti art or Voodoo Donuts.
One thing I wish the world would share with the Northwest is… Frances ability to be the sexy lazy country that does nothing but be romantically awesome. They’re like the cool single uncle with the mustache, motorcycle and corvette that’s always smoking.
Something I have coming up is… A new short film roughly titled “Dance Sketch”. Producing it with my company Akin4Pleazure and our friends at WaterhouseDent. It’s a homage to the old song and dance numbers of Gene Kelly, but with a Tenacious D twist lyrically. It’s about terrible customers and customer service. My pal Richard and I are writing an orchestral score and I’m choregraphing all the dance. It’s going to be a daunting, fun and rewarding challenge.

This is exciting because… Dance Sketch will be the most elaborate self produced piece I’ve ever been apart of and if it turns out half as good as I see it in my crazed brain, people might throw up… Like in a “I rode the roller coaster after eating elephant ears” good way.
