I’m very excited about tomorrow night. I haven’t been able to hang out in Portland in awhile so it will be nice seeing everyone out again.
I’m also happy the magazine will be able to take part in an event showcasing so much local talent.
All parties involved are very good at what they do.
DJ Gen.Erik and DJ Wels are great at playing music people want to dance too.
The Crown Room is a superior venue that knows how to make a drink.
DA Booth will give everyone amazing pictures to look at in the morning.
I’ll be there hosting aka drinking and participating in shenanigans.
And its all FREE!
And I do know that Portland loves free.
Can’t wait to see all of the beautiful people out and about.

My Name is… Angela Dawn Paterson aka ADawn aka Stangela but most know me as Angela Dawn :)
I am…hmm a lot of things but I pride myself on being a creative machine and a skilled photographer and founder of DAbooth a Portland based photo-booth.
I like it when….I host friends from out of town and everyone has a hard time leaving this city. Most decide they want to move here. It makes me realize I’m so lucky to be here.
One thing I wish the Northwest would share with the world is…Portland’s love for recycling and our earth. Our neighborly vibe and a sense of community in this some what large city. I love our laid back mentality! Everyone here seems to be pretty open minded and chill as well. I love that about Portland!!
One thing I wish the world would share with the Northwest is…Hmm, good question, I think were a great example for the rest of the world especially the US. I’d would like some more high paying jobs like L.A and New York brings though. If Portland could become a fashion mecca we would be stepping up some game! Than i’d be shooting fashion again for sure.
Something I have coming up is… Taking DAbooth to new heights by traveling outside of this city as well as the US.
This is exciting because… This way we will be able to share this unique creative booth experience to more people. I am excited to see were the future takes us.
My Name is… Nick Rudy, but anyone who recognizes me usually only knows me as DJ Wels…or ‘hey you’…or ‘that one guy..with the soccer ball’.
I am… studying digital technology and culture at Washington State University. I’m also an avid gardener and avocado afficionado.
I like it when…. I can wake up in the morning…and then go directly back to sleep. I also like it when both of my cats play soccer with one another. Days when I can afford to do nothing BUT sit at my turntables and scratch are the best..so I like those too.
One thing I wish the Northwest would share with the world is…The multitude of talent we have brewing here. It would be cool if we could share a bit of our rain with the rest of the world too.

Something I have coming up is…The release of the new Animal Farm record “Culture Shock”. Also in staying with the short notice theme, I’ll be at Tube in downtown Portland for an unexpected addition to my monthly 4th Saturday party there this Saturday night. Come through and I’ll give you a show!
This is exciting because…The new album is exciting because it’s getting a LOT of buzz in the hip hop world right now. It features Talib Kweli, Abstract Rude, DJ Rob Swift, DJ Wicked and more! Tube is exciting because..usually someone gets punched in the face.

I am… A husband, dog owner, rapper, graphic designer, hustler, drinker of Jameson, Paper chaser, lawn mower, house painter, patient and humble. Also the 89th most popular person in Salem. (according to last year’s report. I’m sure I’ve moved up since then.)

I am… the President of Focused Noise, which is a record label, artist management, booking, and promotions company. I’m a devoted father and husband. I am also a Producer, MC, and DJ. I also moonlight as a novice snake charmer and I have a white belt in karate.
I like it when…. I find something that inspires me. I also like when people doubt me. It drives me to work harder. I was kicked out of piano lessons in the first grade. I’ve been striving to prove that micromanaging teacher wrong ever since!
One thing I wish the Northwest would share with the world is… Sir Mix A Lot. I think that guy has some real potential.
One thing I wish the world would share with the Northwest is… Not much. I like what we have just fine. With all of these “natural” disasters occurring, I don’t want to rock the boat.
Something I have coming up is… my dinner, because it makes me sick that I am about to self promote so excessively, but here it goes… Animal Farm’s new album “Culture Shock” will be available May 17th. This is exciting because… We have worked tirelessly for three years to get to this point and we made a great record. We had a couple deals fall through and we persevered. Now, we’re putting it out on our own through Focused Noise.
