My Name is… Randal Wyatt, I have also gone by Diezel P for many years.
I am… The Lead MC/Vocalist for the innovative Hip Hop fusion band called Speaker Minds. I am also a solo Artist and Activist for the community.
I like it when…. People keep an open mind to various styles of music, and I like it when people take advantage of FREE music by downloading it and sharing it with their people!
Something I have coming up is… About 3 years ago I was recording an album with various Artists, Producers, and Musicians from the Northwest, but I put these tracks on the backburner in order to focus on forming my band Speaker Minds. Now that Speaker Minds is up and buzzing, I have decided to release all of this material on my new Mixtape titled “Extra-Ordinary”, which is a representation of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Some of the features on the Mixtape include Cool Nutz, Luck One, Mic Crenshaw, Iame of Sandpeople, 5th Sequence, DJ Flip Flop, DJ Wels, and of course… Speaker Minds. This is exciting because… I have been waiting many years to release all of this material as a FREE download, I’m excited to get feedback from all of our supporters.
Upcoming Event:
We will be helping raise money for the Morpheus Youth Project by performing at their Benefit Concert on May 26th at Ted’s Berbati’s. The Morpheus Youth Project gave incarcerated youth a chance to have their voice heard through their passion of music and poetry. Now that they have finished recording their compilation album, we are going to raise funding to release it to the public. We will be performing with the Hip Hop duo known as Elevated, who will be releasing their brand new LP called “Nothing Bad Ever Happens” on this special night as well. Lots of positive vibes will be radiating out of Ted’s Berbati’s on May 26th, come check us out! 21 and Up, doors open at 8pm.
