Position Description
Imagem Creative Services, the synch licensing arm of the Imagem Music Group, is currently accepting applications for a spring intern in our Los Angeles office. The intern will be immersed in many of our synchronization activities in all media and across all of the Imagem catalogs including Rodgers & Hammerstein (The Sound of Music, Oklahoma!, The King and I), Boosey & Hawkes (Steve Reich, John Adams, S. Rachmaninoff), and Imagem Music (Phil Collins, Elvis Presley, The Temper Trap).
We are seeking an intern who expresses a serious interest in music synchronization, music licensing, and music publishing. The intern must be able to learn quickly, have a positive work ethic, and embody an innate passion for music of all genres.
This is a great opportunity for those looking to learn about the music industry’s inner-workings from the world’s largest independent music publisher. The intern will get to participate in our daily synch activities, research current media trends and projects, and will also learn some of the intricacies of licensing music for visual media.
All candidates must currently be enrolled in a collegiate undergraduate program at a Los Angeles-area college or university. The Intern must be able to commit to a minimum of 20-25 hours per week in exchange for college credit. The position will start as early as August 2013 and will continue through the entire fall semester.
