#AirPlaneMode rapper HANiF and Portland producer 5th Sequence have announced that their upcoming EP, 12 Inch Vinyls, will be available February 24th; however, the iTunes pre-sale link is up now. The singles, Gentrify and Feels So Good, as well as HANiF’s upcoming tour with Pete Rock and Slum Village have created a strong buzz around the project.
It will be interesting to see how this EP stacks up to Nif’s prior rapper/producer collaboration projects. Beautiful Music (1 & 2) and Critical Mass (produced by Deck and Dizz, respectfully) immediately come to mind, so this should be an interesting departure given 5th’s notoriously boom bap sound. Looking forward to this one.
