Sango recently announced a trio of treats to his supporters and music fans alike: 3 upcoming summer shows taking place in Washington, Texas, and New York. After that, he will hit the road in October, joining Portland native Aminé on the October leg of his Tour de Dance 2025 Word Tour.
Aminé’s tour, announced after the release of his 3rd studio album, 13 Months of Sunshine, features over 40 shows and a handful of featured performers including Lido – DJing for the September leg, Tommy Gold – providing support for the first international leg in November/ December, and Niko B – closing out the international leg in December.
The addition of Sango to Aminé’s tour is a genius move… A PNW connection for the books for sure! Grab your tickets here.
Sango, an active artist and prolific producer, released his latest album, North Vol. 2, last year. A May 2024 release, the album was the perfect soundtrack to a sizzling summer. Filled with fantastic features and powerful production, it surely surpassed the car test, and I return to it often. My personal favorite tracks include the groovy, gospel-sampled “Meanwhile” featuring fellow Seattle native, Dave B., and the melodic “Masego’s Interlude,” featuring Grammy-nominated artist, Masego.
Sango’s recent run of shows begins today, July 19th, at Remlinger Farms in Carnation, Washington, as he returns to his birth state to join artist and recent collaborator, Masego.

Sango’s Summer continues on August 17th as he hits the Houston stage for A Mad Nice Summer, presented by Jack Daniels.
To finish out his summer sets, he is featured at the first Planet Brooklyn festival in New York on August 24th.
Sango’s shows are always energy packed, with original mixes, edits, and cuts to fit a wide array of musical tastes. From funk and house to gospel and trap, Sango seamlessly combines soul samples and bold breaks to deliver what I can only describe as “The Sango Sound.” While the crowd always enjoys the music, an additional treat is to see Sango grooving to his own creations. He clearly loves the music and his own creation process! It is an honor to witness. If you are in our near any of these cities, do not miss the opportunity to experience “The Sango Sound” live. Purchase tickets to his upcoming shows at sangobeats.com.
With his diverse range of music, sonically superb samples, and culturally curated cuts, Sango continues to be a favorite of mine, and I look forward to the experience of his live performances once again!
