Matt D moved to Portland from Austin to beat the heat. After putting together a studio in his girlfriend’s basement, he put together a tape by himself. The tape ended up getting passed around to friends of friends of friends, and eventually Matt was contacted by musicians Eric J and Zach R. Battleme was born!
