The lowkey Portland native Wingate spent a year and a half working on his album, All Too Well, which he released today for free on Soundcloud. Much different than the majority of local underground rap, the NBG emcee/producer approaches rap from a more sensitive angle. Definitely the kind of music you throw on in the whip after the club when you’re riding around with some freaks and ask, “Y’all ever heard of Wingate?”
