In the wee hours of the morning, Tope dropped his new video for Take Your Time, directed by Noah Porter. The track from his Troubleman EP features some awesome trumpeting by Farnell Newton, and the video includes appearances by local artists Luck One and Trox. Gotta love a collaborative effort. UPDATE: After the video hit Twitter, Ms Badu – The Queen herself – retweeted the link and followed Tope. She also followed a handful of other local artists and we all went crazy. Mad respect to The Queen and to Tope for grabbing her attention.
