David Dalla G is a pretty different rap artist, hailing from Portland and residing in Bozeman (yes, Montana). His latest video is overwhelmingly positive – much like Pharrell’s Happy – and managed to hold my attention despite the fact that I’m mad ADD. A really solid song writer, the single led me to check out his sophomore album, All Sides, which has features from Cee Goods, One B Lo, and Sapient (with whom he’s embarking on a 23 stop tour).
Nice to see a NW rapper acting like a NW rapper, especially when he’s talented with the bars.
