Lil’ Ripp of Tacoma has quite the grind and his music keep getting better. A recent trip below the Mason-Dixon line resulted in a few new tracks with some new friends from across the 48. The musical two-piece is the latest from Ripp, who thankfully resisted the urge to bundle the pair into an EP.
I Had Me is a confident come-up anthem featuring GHearne and AMuse of Delaware and DC, respectively. The offering of Run It Up provides an extended snippet which pairs Ripp with Atlanta artist Trini for a Jhene Aiko sounding track that sounds really, really good.
