Rising Portland rapper Swiggle Mandela dropped a new video last night, proclaiming it (on his YouTube page) as “Arguably the best Music Video in Portland Oregon”.
That’s certainly taking it a bit far for me, but I bit and found that this is by far Swiggle’s single best product. The song itself is strong and relevant to the times. “Police car looking like a slaveship / Penitentiary, looking like enslavement,” he raps on the final verse of a song about the youth having safe places to be… well, youth. And the video is very well done, as I’ve come to expect of any product from Totem Ent.
