My first apartment was on N. Ainsworth between Kerby and Borthwick, so when my Soundcloud stream produced a soulful voice crooning on about Peninsula Park, I was immediately reminded of hoop battles on the double rims, ciphers in my under-furnished living room and the sweet smell of roses.
