Yung Mil of Portland – buzzing off of his Do Your Dance collab with George Padilla – dropped a surprise mixtape for the month of December. Having followed Mil’s career since before the 106 & Park days, it’s always interesting to see where the young, self-proclaimed hip-hop/pop recording artist’s head is at in terms of artistry and image.

His latest project – Saturdayze – brings us up to date. With his boy-next-door vibe still intact, Mil pulls further away from the good kid image while employing various rap styles on the bouncy 11 track solo venture. The 22 year old also toys with some singing and even self-produced one of the tracks (No Good) himself.

Loaded with braggadocio and thirst-traps, the mixtape serves its purpose, and had me wondering if he’d touch on more earthly topics till I got to my favorite track on the album, December. Check it out y’all. #OutHere
