Underground Seattle group Nu Era dropped a new project today via Bandcamp. Armadilla Lexus is a rap album through and through, featuring intense syllable play and competitive rhyme tactics in round robin fashion, reminiscent of early 90’s rap crews.
The lyrically gifted squad calls on a few special artists for features. Donormaal, Thaddeus David, Blu and Ra Scion are the few featured on the 11-track offering, each holding their own with the dynamic squad. Decisively creative with dynamic progressions, this album is a breath of fresh air for rap heads, and a slap in the face of those who think raw-styled hip-hop can’t stand on it’s own.
