Donte Thomas tapped Louie Lastic to sample the Maxi Priest classic and grabbed his gang for a boy-band level party joint that left me intrigued. The surprise drop last night, complete with artwork by Alex Wright, is a full-on dance track, a departure from Thomas’ typically introspective style.
The pop-rap crossover joint was unexpected, but the energy is on point, the singing is funny, the verses are sharp, and the production is on point. Thomas, G6ix and Chris Lee show they can spit uptempo and the STRAYs have yet another crew hit on their hands. #OutHere
