These SQD kids are literally everywhere. Whether they’re headlining at all-ages shows or opening for Vince Staples, dropping new tracks or posting new photos, it seems like these guys have been everywhere the last few weeks.
The teen-aged squadron, known more simply as SQD, has amassed a wild following and has become a core part of the #NewPortland movement. Tugg & Heff in particular have been especially active, and the pair finally released the 2 Man Part II video that they’ve been teasing. Puurple works his magic behind the camera and the crew goes dummy with the dance moves while bouncing lyrically on the simple but catchy beat with ease. Hard not to like these guys, they really look like they’re having fun with this rap thing. #OutHere
