Chill Crew vets Jesse Desean and Chevy C collaborated for a fun new EP in OutOfNoWhere (OONW). The rapper and producer, respectively, show growth and maturity on the new project while maintaining that trademark light sense of humor.
Since leaving Portland for Seattle, Desean has shown musical focus, and this project with his little brother Chevy shows that he can be a serious factor in NW hip-hop. Tracks Inspector and RCKthePRTY stood out to me, showcasing upbeat and danceable vibes and powerful flows. The Chill Crew is always active and the whole crew keeps getting doper. I, for one, am always excited to see what’s next – still, I’d like to see Chevy and Jesse spend some time working this one. #OutHere
