Watching Vinnie Dewayne return to Portland and work to reestablish himself as a presence in the local rap scene has been interesting to say the least. Formative college years spent in The Chi grew the gifted rapper’s audience across the country, but Portland is a live music city, and over time Vinnie has become increasingly active in the show circuit.
