Not sure there is an artist in Portland whose musical opinion I trust more than Stewart Villain’s. Both a dynamic producer and an electrifying rapper, there are also few that work harder than the kid from the North. If you don’t believe me, check the credits.
The Soar Loser has been quiet for a while – at least locally – so when I heard he was working on a new project, I can’t lie, I got excited. The first bullet from the upcoming project (tentatively scheduled for an early April release) comes in the form of a video single for Uppers x Downers, a high-energy party anthem in which he talks hella smack and clearly states his intention to continue being a factor in this rap shit. A simple but ill video from Soundlapse seals the deal and (My Name Is) Stewart is officially back. Check it.
