R4PC4MP has been up to their shenanigans again, this time with “Meet Me Where the Sidewalk Ends” they are taking us through various metaphors for what can happen on an exploratory adventure through the forests of the mind. The group’s lyrics paint a portrait that navigates the balance between both loving oneself and spending time reflecting on the parts still needing work.
Six pragmatic poets alternate lines in a back-and-forth cadence over the course of three verses. This cypher-duet sort of style mimics how the mind can sometimes feel in certain states, bombarded with feelings and ideas coming from what seems like many directions all at once.
