Tacoma – like Oakland or Newark – is one of those really questionable places that breeds unquestionably great music. Following in the footsteps of system-bucking anthem-makers such as Cally Reed and ILLFIGHTYOU, Seaan Brooks released a high-energy, grimy album called Vices which is worth a listen.
Raw and entertaining, Brooks delivers lyrically over solid production. Bird Talk stands out as an early favorite for me on an album that shows a ton of potential. I’ll be interested to see what Brooks does next.
